Amazing view of St Paul's Cathedral!
The Leonardo Royal St Paul's was a really nice hotels. To check in seemed to take forever and there was only two staff at first and then 3 but even then it just took so long. The rooms were extremely hot during the night. The gym was not 24 hour and does not open till 7am on the weekend. All very small things and none of these would stop be going back. The view from the front door of the hotel was simply stunning.. just a stones throw from St Pauls cathedral. The hotel was extremely clean and modern, large and spacious. The room was a room for 4 with 2 double beds, with plenty of room for 4 adults to stay in comfortably. We recieved complementary breakfast as I had believed that I had booked it and obviously hadn't. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location and very near to tube stations. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Weekend break
We we’re upgraded free of charge as it was our wedding anniversary, which I had stated in the booking. Our room wasn’t ready on arrival so we put our cases in our friends room (also upgraded free for their anniversary) Unfortunately on checking into our room later there was a strong smell of smoke. We were given a different room with apologies which was still the upgrade & no smell of smoke. We didn’t eat at the hotel & was disappointed to find the roof bar wasn’t open. We had drinks in the sports bar instead. Staff friendly on reception & even more so in the sports bar. Air con in our room (532) was very noisy but needed to be on through the night as the automatic temperature kept going back to 25 which was too stuffy for us. Bathroom had a bath & separate shower which just sprayed enough to wet you. Certainly not a power shower. The area around the hotel is clean & felt safe. Less than a minutes walk to St. Paul’s Cathedral. St. Paul’s tube is the nearest & easy enough to get around London from there. I’d stay here again but hopefully in a room with quieter air con & a stronger shower. Although we went up to floor 7 to look at the view.
