Grange St. Paul's
First Class Hotel and Perfect Location
Excellent hotel in a brilliant location. Helpful staff and very clean. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel not a great room.
Unfortunately we were put in room 350, I opted for a superior room. The room was well designed comfortable and stylish. The problem was it seemed to be next to some kind of motor run machinery which created a drone and revving noise all night long which resulted in me getting no sleep at all. I wrote a complaint letter, which I handed into reception on my way out as we had plans for the day and I didn’t want to get caught up waiting for managers etc. I haven’t heard back from anyone from the hotel as yet regarding my experience. We had no air conditioning on at all as I am sensitive to sound when sleeping, my partner slept fine as he can sleep through pretty much anything and there wasn’t much I could do about it at 2 am in the morning. I think this is a good hotel but I was unfortunate to be put in room 350.

Lots of little problems
Room was overall clean but lots of little problems ruined my stay: shower screen wouldn’t stay in place so the bathroom floor became a swimming pool after every shower, the bed had a big slope towards the middle, the plug beside the bed was broken so I couldn’t charge my phone beside me, hotel says it has Sky Sports in the rooms but hasn’t bothered to update since the Sports channels changed back last summer so no Sky Sports main event channel & only 3 of the Sports channels overall. Also 6th floor corridor stunk of smoke every time I arrived or left. None of these on their own are dealbreakers but collectively meant my stay was just a disappointment. For a hotel of this calibre I expected much better

A mixed experience.
The open areas are lovely. Issues with faulty windows in the rooms and a manic experience of screaming kids jumping in and out of the Jacuzzi with no supervision. No staff presence around the pool made it unpleasant but the staff were responsive to our complaint.

Shame about the reception staff
Great hotel, great location, lovely rooms, terrible reception staff. They’re rude and unhelpful and make you feel very unwelcome or appreciated as a paying guest.
