We stayed in one of the upper rooms, which was huge, old and really interesting. The rooms are run by owners of wonderful nearby restaurants. But old buildings take some doing, and I think they decided to invest in the restaurants. Our room had been superficially fixed up - there was a huge shower, excellent new tub - but the vinyl plank in the bathroom floor had been put down over the original floorboards with all their cool twists and gaps, and since vinyl plank flooring needs a good base that's missing, the flooring is coming apart and breaking down. Carpet was as clean as good cleaners can make it, but stains around table legs near the window (did someone leave it open during rain?). I'd guess doing up these rooms to the best local standard (like the Railway Hotel Apartments where we've stayed) would cost a fortune, and the rooms would be even more expensive than they are. So it's fine, if pretty expensive even for the Cotswolds, but don't expect the rooms to be on a par with their wonderful restaurants :)

Lovely large room with huge en-suite bathroom. Great continental breakfast. Location was ideal and surrounding area was very quaint. Would stay here again for sure. Only issue was WiFi wasn’t working.

Wonderful experience

The check in was really simple and straight forward with instructions given prior to the visit. Upon arrival we were all really pleaaed to find the rooms as cosy and as comfy as they looked in rhe pictures. It was a great placw to stay in the centre of Nailsworrh and use as a base for exploring the surrounding areas.

So the big let down for this place was the smell of sewage from the bathroom which put us off from using the shower and luckily closing the bathroom door did stop the smell but we stayed only for one night. The continental breakfast was okay. Bed was nice and the room was warm enough with plenty of heating options

We enjoyed our stay at the Wild Garlic Rooms. Initially we were disappointed there was no parking onsite but we found parking places in Nailsworth that were 23 hours free parking and just a short walk. We would definitely go back but this time we would book a ground floor self catering room.

Love find

We stayed as a family in the nest. The place was really lovely and clean. The complimentary breakfast was also great and replenished the following day. Could do with blackout blinds/curtains as it was very bright, but that is all. The owner was lovely and really helpful too. Will come back!

Comfortable and Convenient

Comfortable apartment in a good location to local amenities. Some surfaces needed a better clean and some lights in the bedroom weren’t working. Over bath shower wasn’t great and needs attention as very leaky and doesn’t stay in position. Anti-slip bath mat would also be a useful addition. Minor issues overall and easy to resolve. Supplied breakfast was all local produce and very good.

Good sleep but not enough.

The room looks lovely on first appearance. We stayed in The Loft and it was really in need of some tlc. The floor in the bathroom is warped, there’s no water pressure in the sink and the sink was coming off the wall so I stopped leaning on it! The shower needs work, in general it’s poor. A bath took half an hour to fill. Not worth the price we paid, but location was fantastic for getting around. Bed was very comfortable which is important, but this room needs significant work, including the bathroom needing a decent renovation job. Also, to hear your cleaner openly being rude and complaining outside sat down isn’t exactly very good for business.
