A Williamsburg White House
Cold but characterful.
Lovely place, slightly long walk from town. Felt rather pushed around by the owner, as if on a conveyor belt and had to fit in to his schedule. I prefer to see what I can do for my guests, not give them a list of what they can do for me. Entree at breakfast turns out to be the main course, eg a bowl of cereal alternative to the day's speciality when you are asked! God conversation with other guests at breakfast.

The owners made us feel like family.
enjoyed it very much. very home style and very nice breakfast for each day. I recommend it to other travelers. The best part was sharing the meal and meeting other people from around the country.

stay at the other White House
We had a beautiful room with very interesting wall hangings such as The Bill of Rights. John and his wife were great hosts. Breakfast was beautifully plated and very good. It was great to have plenty of free parking after paying a fortune in DC.
