Exceptional 10.0
A charming hotel with lovely hosts
Amazing room and lovely hosts who treated us with a warm welcome upon entry. Would highly recommend. Sadly i didnt get to try their offer of a breakfast as i had to leave early for a run i was competing in however the husband told me the breakfast was very nice and he was again greeted with the same hospitality as seen when we first arrived. Lovely people

Exceptional 10.0
Nice experience
We booked for 2 nights as we were visiting for the Grand National meeting in April which we took the local train in Southport to get to. We arrived at the Baytrees 2 hours early and was allowed to check in early, we were also given a free upgrade to room 1 which is a big room with a king sized bed and golf themed. There’s tea, coffee and biscuits in the room and a small mini fridge also for you to store your own drinks. There’s a large wardrobe with plenty of hangers and ample drawer storage available. The bathroom was a shower, sink and toilet which was a bit small but more than adequate for what we wanted. Breakfast is either full English or toasted sandwiches with fresh juices, fruit and cereal available, it was well cooked. Maria and Vic are available if you have any requests throughout your stay and we’re a fantastic friendly couple and we would have no hesitation on staying here again which we plan to do for next years national meeting.

Very good 8.0
Nice, friendly little hotel, close to town centre
We brought our 8 year old grandson for a 4 night break. Upon arrival we were greeted by the proprietors, Maria and Victor, who were very pleasant and friendly. We were shown to our room, which was on the 1st floor, up a small flight of stairs. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and had a mini fridge, which was great for keeping drinks cool for my grandson. The beds were very comfortable, there was a TV with built in DVD player, and a hospitality tray. The bathroom was a good size, with a walk in shower cubicle, which was roomy and the shower flow was constant and kep a steady temperature. Breakfast was served each morning in the dining room, which was clean and cheerful. There was a small choice of juice and cereal, which you helped yourself to. Tea, coffee and cooked breakfast were served nice and hot, There was a guests lounge, which was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a car park at the front of the hotel, and there was always a free space available to park in. Overall it as a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and Maria and Victor made us feel most welcome. They presented our grandson with a certificate for being a "gold star guest", which I thought was a lovely thing, and made my grandson feel quite special. Our stay was good value for money, and we would probably stay here again.

Good 6.0
Lovely big room with good quality clean linen. Had all we needed but unfortunately they didn't service our room on the second night! We had nothing cleaned or refreshed which let it down. Also I have never been to a hotel or B&B where there was no one to meet and great us. Although we were later than 2.30 it was not late at night and we had to phone to be told to let ourselves in from a key lock by the door. We didn't see a soul or were shown around and had to discover the breakfast room ourselves in the morning. The menu for breakfast was very limited and for the money we paid we did expect the usual standard we have received at other places.

Not the best
Dusty. Dirty carpet, room needs repainting dirty skirtings and walls. Shower needs regrouting and resealing. No towels in room and took a few hours to contact management as the phone kept going to answering machine. No answer at desk bell either until we went out for a couple of hours.tried when we came bàck and eventually got the towels. Message we left weren't heard until breakfast the next day. Breakfast was good except poor quality orange juice. Disappointed for the £70 we were charged.
