Battery Wharf Hotel, Boston Waterfront
Hidden fees and terrible service
Hidden charges of $40 resort fee! And $50 parking per night!? There’s not even a swimming pool let alone resort. When I queried it they said it was for complimentary WIFI and water on the room!? They clearly don’t understand the word ‘complimentary’. They also give you no help to take bags to your room and the room was in a different building outside of the hotel. When we went to check out there was a long queue and the staff were making and receiving phone calls ahead of the people waiting. It was incredibly rude. Not impressed by the service one bit.

Highly relaxing.
Battery Wharf hotel is very conveniently located a short taxi ride or a medium distance walk from Boston South railway station. It is near to the city's best regarded eating area. The location on the harbour gives many fine viewpoints from the several terraces and walkways. The hotel is big but divided up into separate interconnected blocks. The furnishing and fittings are of excellent class. The staff were very helpful and I particularly commend the homely siting of the computer station which enabled me to print a couple of critical documents.

Battery Wharf
the hotel was excellent, except the room we were given was next to the security door to the block. it kept me awake late into the night and woke me up early in the morning.

Smart, safe hotel
Smart hotel, 10 min walk into north end. Room good size, we had lux double, a little diappointed that we were on geound floor with view of bushes instead of the water, but we arr c late and were tired and also dont spend that much time in the room, annoyed that exp hotle and had to pay for wifi!

Boston was super and the Freedom trail is excellent! We were in the annexe across from the main building- it was used for conferences and had no public areas for hotel guests, whereas the other annexe had a sitting area/lounge. The coffee machine was broken; behind the dressing cabinet was filthy ; the air conditioning cabinet rattled until we pushed a chair against it ; one of the reading lights had faulty electrics and the bathroom sink was cracked! Housekeeping was haphazard as only sometimes toiletries were replaced. It seemed that as we were paying less for the room, service was limited as we weren't even told about the dinner/ breakfast areas. We felt like second or even third class guests - especially when we discovered that outside seating areas were reserved for "exclusive" guests, despite the fact that we never saw them occupied. Finally, the wi-fi was not free and in fact was very expensive. A leading hotel of the world? I think not! I would stay in Boston again but find a hotel that treated all its guests equally and with respect!
