Rome visit oct 2019
Stayed at La Rovere October 2019. Really nice hotel. Hotel clean and room kept tidy by great staff well looked after. Hotel breakfast was brilliant all you needed to start your day very clean and a good choice of food with plenty of coffee served fresh. Room very nice bed comfortable and clean, shower great. Only bad thing not enough room to store clothes had to leave some in cases.

Very nice stay at the heart of Catania
The property is at a very good location, next to via Etnea. The room was clean and it had everything you needed. Anna welcomed us and was very helpful, giving us recommendations for places during our stay. Breakfast was also very good, served at a coffee shop down the road. Recommended!

Great stay, perfect location.
Really helpful staff, great service. Air conditioning was temperamental but we still had a brilliant stay. The location in particular meant we went on everywhere on foot.

Beautiful and quiet area to stay
Great location, mostly very quiet with the exception of ambulances as there is a hospital nearby. Walking distance to some lovely bars and restaurants, along beautiful streets. Buzzy but not too touristy like other areas. Will definitely go back to this area!

Beautiful hotel near Vatican City
Room 401 - that is really all that needs to be said! We stayed for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) The hotel was immaculate and the rooms were beautiful (we had a sneak peak at other rooms as we read that they had been renovated and wanted a nose!). We had room 401 which overlooked the river and a small basillica. We could also see the top of the Vatican City from our room window. The balcony was great too - we treated ourselves to a bottle of wine on the Saturday night and watched the sun set over the river, basillica and city centre. Even the view from out bathroom was great - traditional houses and apartments, gardens and greenery. Location wise, we usually opt for a "Hop on Hop off" bus but I would advise against this - they're infrequent and it's around a 7 min walk to the hotel. The buses are just outside the hotel, regular (and on time!), and are 1.50 Euros for 100 minutes worth of travel. The hotel may seem "out of the centre" but you're there within 10 minutes by bus or a 20-40 minute walk depending on where you're headed. The centre was far too busy, and if I were to return to Rome, I'd stay at Hotel La Rovere again in a heartbeat. Safe, clean, and comfy! Thank you so much again

Great hotel! Great location!
Our experience here has been fantastic! We cannot fault the place! The staff are super friendly and cannot do enough for us. They all speak English too which has helped a lot! We have had to stay on extra days here in Rome because we were involved in an accident, and the hotel was not only able to let us keep our rooms, but the staff were genuinely concerned and caring! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Very good 8.0
Lovely trip
The staff were helpful, the location was good (you can walk everywhere). However, based on the room facilities and the breakfast options I'd consider this a 3 star rather than a 4 star hotel. Literally nothing negative to say though. We had a lovely trip.

Fantastic hotel, a nice 10-15 minutes walk from the centre and right next to the Vatican!

Spotless hotel with good sized rooms, excellent value, 300m south of Vatican and a 40 minwalk to forum etc. Trastevere is 5 mins south. Great choice, don’t be put off if are dropped off at the bottom of a typical Rome alleyway and have to walk up. Cars can take next right and right again and stop outside the front door
