Really recommend this place. Good value for the money.
good value for money and easy access to venice. rooms were clean and adequate with the air conditioning working well as it was 30c. breakfast was ok and when we returned in the evening we had a drink which i found not to expensive. my only small criticism was the male staff on the front desk could do with being a bit more friendly. whether it was because i was a biker, i was british, were having a bad day or a combination of all 3 they all seemed a bit grumpy.
This has a history and family run hotel I heard, room is very clean and well maintained. So impressed, not luxury but clean, comfort, friendly and peaceful. I will go and stay again and sincerly wish this hotel goes another decades.
The room was clean, comfy and cool. Other than the location being an hour by public transport and €20 per day per head to the main centre of Venice, It would have been perfect but for a few small but important things. (Also very little around to browse - and only 1 restaurant) 1) No kettle : apparently for health and safety so if this is the EU regs, so be it. 2) Only one socket in the room : not good with our numerous gadgets per head :(phones, shavers, straighteners, mosquito zapper, e-cigs, charge banks etc). 3) TV function to change language was ‘broken’, (we were finally told this on day 3 after daily enquiries) however, when mentioned in our first review, it miraculously became ‘unbroken’ on our last night! Hmm.
Welcoming. Good breakfast. Very clean and comfortable. Bus stop around the corner for bus to Venice.
Great location, very close to venice. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean and secure private parking. Recommend fully
Excellent location to get around in Venice. Easy and short distance to take bus to train station(s).
A good choice if you are visiting Venice. Easy to get into Venice by bus. Watching all of the visitors to Venice having to roll or carry luggage to theiR Venice hotels made us doubly glad we stayed in Mestre where we had parking and only a few steps to the hotel. It is an older hotel but was clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff. We blew a tire on the street fronting the hotel on a Sunday evening. Early Monday morning the front desk clerk called someone to help us with the flat and by 9 am we had a new tire installed and were on our way to spend the day in Venice.
Was good :)
