Great location for Temple Bar area/airport bus
We had a wonderful time in Dublin and this hotel is about a 15 min walk to the center of Temple Bar. It's right across Christ Church ... and they ring their bells every 15 min all day and all night There's a nightclub attached to hotel and it's open until about 1:30 a.m. You can hear every beat of the music, the laughter, and people having a good time until they close. The room is big and bathroom is a good size, too. Clean and it has a frig and coffee maker. The hotel is about a five minute walk to a Mexican restaurant that is excellent. (Azteca Restaurant, across the main street) Great food. Down the road there is a grocery store and other shops. There are other restaurants/bars on way to the mid of the Temple Bar area, but Tempe Bar area is where it's happening. Many restaurants/bars in that area. Hotel is great location for walking to all city sights. We also took a bus from airport to hotel. It leaves you right around the corner from hotel. Go to lights at corner (towards Christ Church). Cross street and hotel is a few steps down. Returning to airport, go around corner from hotel and stop is very close by. Very convenient. Downfall you need to lug your luggage into bus. We paid 22 euros r/t for two people. Great deal. Yes, I would stay at this hotel again, but ask for a room maybe away from street. Mattress was horrible. Luckily we had an extra small twin bed and that mattress was better. My husband slept in the big bed and his side didn't slope

Great spot in the heart of the medieval centre of town. A very nice old school hotel, located right opposite Christchurch Cathedral and a 2 min walk to Temple Bar. Easy walking to other Dublin attractions too, which is perfect! The hotel is quite old and is a bit of a rabbit warren, but is quite nice nonetheless. The rooms are large and airey, with a decent bathroom too. The shower alcove is a decent size, which is a nice change for Europe! The beds are very comfortable, and decently firm. The pillows are also nice, and there's plenty of them for comfort! There's a/c in the rooms so you can stay warm or cool, up to you. The internet is brilliant too! There's a pub downstairs connected to the hotel, which has great food and beverage choices too (including craft beer). There's also a cafe attached, where breakfast is served. Good choices for breaky, with decent serving portions. There's not much carparking at the hotel itself, but there is a loading zone just down from the hotel. The carpark is about a 2 min walk away and the hotel has very good parking rates. Staff were quite helpful regardless of enquiry. It was a very comfortable stay, and I'd be keen to return again.

Nicest Hotel, great location
This was the most enjoyable hotel I've stayed in, the reception staff are really friendly and helpful, I stayed here for 2 nights and went to vicar Street the 1st night, it was a 6 min Walk, then went on to temple bar which was a 3 min walk so the location is ideal.. The room was gigantic and the bed was comfy.. We even stayed right across from the cathedral and heard the faínt sound of a bell every hour which wasn't one bit loud like some reviews say.. The parking was down the road from the hotel with a discounted rate. The food is lovely in the bar (as were the pints) and we didn't have to go anywhere else in the evening as there was a band playing in the hotel bar at 6 and another band on after, the place was really busy as it is is one of the most popular bars around. The staff in the bar are really nice too and they always came over and had a conversation with us. Out of all the hotels around this area it was the most reasonable priced and we had such a great 2 nights here we really wanted to stay a 3rd night , I will be returning here again next month, can't wait

Very good 8.0
The room was a large but the bathroom was VERY small and had a small (3") step to get in which, even with the "mind the step" sign, we seemed to catch every time we went into the room. The room also smelled a little when we arrived and took about a day of the windows being open to air it out. The bed and pillows were comfortable, good water pressure and very friendly staff. The bar attached is good and has live music but can be touristy. The bistro attached has ok breakfast. As a note, the church across the street plays its bells every 15min. The windows mostly block it out but on Fridays from 6pm to 9pm they have a practice ringing session that is constant and doesn't sound very good. We recommend a long dinner elsewhere during that time. Sunday mornings also have a lot of bell ringing for services. It is a walk to the main bars in the area (near George's St) but is convenient enough for the price.

Exceptional 10.0
Excellent location and reasonable price
Excellent location close to everything but still not noisy even at weekend nights (except the loud bells of Christ Church Cathedral). Single room had good amount of space. There was a safe and a fridge in the room, which was a nice suprise because they were not mentioned in the room description. Free wifi worked well in basic use but the connection was not strong enough for live streaming. The bathroom was a bit inconvenient, there were no power socket and the mirror was placed so low that a normal sized man does not see his face. There were separate taps for hot and cold water and the cold water tap needed to be pressed every two seconds to keep the water running. The shower was ok though. Airlink bus stop is maybe 50 metres from the front door.
