some good, some bad
Good: Hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood and easy to reach from central Paris by public transport. The room has a double door which blocks noise from the hallway. The bedroom and bathroom are relatively spacious for a Paris hotel room. Bad: Rooms could use a renovation. Bedroom separator walls are too thin (you can hear people talking in the room next door), isolation in bathroom is laughable. You could have a conversation with the person in the bathroom of the adjoining room without needing to raise your voice.

It was a great stay
It’s a standard hotel. No spa or swimming pool. The staff are nice and polite and friendly. I was out nearly all the time so I didn’t have much of a chance to interact with housekeeping or the reception as much but it was still a good service. The room was rather small. However that is understandable because of the building the hotel was in and the room I opted for. The bathroom was great and all travel shampoos and soaps were present. The only downside was the cupboard that was small and the size of the safe which cannot fit a laptop inside unlike other safes i have used. The best part about the hotel is the views it provides. The hotel itself is situated on an incline as you will notice walking up rue de martyrs or from Gar du Nord. With a terrace on the ninth floor you can basically see the whole of Paris. You name what you want to see and it is in front of you, providing it’s a clear day of course. The terrace view is better than the view from Sacre Coeur because the eiffel tower view is restricted from Sacre Coeur. Best views in summer when you can sit and chill on the terrace The area is absolutely amazing. I walked from Gar Du Nord to the hotel it’s not far. I’ve walked from the hotel to Galaries Lafayette with absolute ease via Rue de Martyrs. Walking is the best thing to do in paris you see a lot. The area is next to Moulin rouge and I needn’t say much. In front of the hotel is the gateway to Sacre Coeur and the many shops and beautiful streets

Good hotel in a good location
The hotel is well positioned close to Metro stations and parking is 4-5 min walking distance. The hotel was ok. The only bad thing was the pillows as tgey were like a baloon. Rooms are of good size compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. All apliances working fine. Overall a pleasent experience. Honestly in my opinion this hotel is more like 3 stars but I would gladly come back here.

Trip to Paris
I traveled to Paris with my son to attend a concert conveniently happening across the street from the hotel. I previously stated the same hotel the year before for the same concert and not have any issues. Unfortunately this time around the negatives definitely outweigh the positives. The room we checked into add hair still in the bathtub, bathroom paint chipped and peeling and within hours of her being there we left came back to find the toilet leaked out the bottom all over the bathroom floor. On top of that for the majority of our two night stay there is either no water or only cold water available. I knew room was eventually found for us however we had to move from the second to the fourth floor and while that’s not normally a problem it is when you have two people‘s worth of luggage and none of the elevators in the building worked. Multiple guests were told that the repair person was supposed to be coming to fix them but that did not happen during our stay. If it wasn’t for the fact that my son and I spent the majority of our vacation outside the hotel and for the staff involved with moving our clothes to the new room which was done very professionally I would’ve given all zero scores for this trip. This hotel normally gets everything done correctly, but this time that did not happen.
