Clean and convenient
Small room but adequate for an overnight stay. Clean and comfortable. Very convenient for things we planned to visit.

London mini break
The Villa Kensington is an older style hotel but it was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the Natural History Museum along with several of London's other top museums. It is also easily accessible from Gloucester Road Tube station.

ok
It was what it was. Front covered in scaffolding as windows being replaced so one of rooms extremely drafts near windows. Didn’t realise until wind picked up at night. Staff very helpful when needing to print paper tickets for theatre and clipper trip. Good location for exploring as on so many tube lines. Wouldn’t be opposed to staying there again but have stayed in better for the price.

Good value.
We had a lovely stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Great location!

It was okay. Location was good. For the price I thought a bottle of water in the room might have been nice. Not much milk either for two of us. The small shampoo/conditioner didn't go very far for someone with long hair and didn't feel like it included any conditioner at all. Internet very slow.

Very good location, close to the tube and shops/restaurants. Tiny bathroom but clean and lovely staff.

Booked through Tesco’s and so not sure whether this has an effect. All in all the room (206) was ok but very small and hence did not meet our expectations of what we would consider a normal size. Thankfully we were out a lot - including the evening- and so only needed a ‘crash pad’. If this wasn’t the case, then I would say the room would not have met our needs. Checkout at 12:00 was good, and it was quiet. Receptionists were helpful and polite and helped provide an iron and board as well as kept our luggage whilst we toured around after we Checked Out. Indeed they also helped with a changing area once we came to collect our bags. There’s a Sainsbury’s and Waitrose close by as is Gloucester Rd tube and the museums and Albert Hall.

Great location, simple no frills hotel
Nice enough little hotel. Great location, friendly staff but rather expensive for what it is. Lobby badly needs air conditioning as it was unbearably hot. I had a single room w single bed. A comfy bed but shower room was smaller than the ridiculously oversized double wardrobe in my tiny little room. Wardrobe also blocked access to the air con controls.

Ok hotel but beware of thin walls & bad breakfast
Overall was ok but the walls are superthin and the breakfast is terrible . Single room was ok size. Someones shower kept dripping for a while (I guess upstairs) and it made a lot of noise that came through to the room. Even if neighbours try to keep it down, you can still hear everything.

Stay was perfectly fineand the room was very comfortable for one person! The shower was lovely and a small luxury! Bed was also very relaxing and pillows just right! Only complaint would be my teabags and milk were not topped up for the second night! But overall would recommend!
