Would stay again
As others have mentioned, there is a full flight of stairs + a turn to get up to reception, so rule this one out if you have mobility issues. That aside, the neighbourhood is nice – mostly young families during the day, a Sunday-morning market on the nearest avenue. We stayed on a Saturday night and there are a few noisy bars nearby, so ask for a back room (unless it's winter and your window will be shut anyway...). It's close to the metro, just around the corner, cafes and useful shops, or a half hour walk to the centre of Paris, so nice and convenient. Our twin room (I travelled with my son) was big enough and the bathroom was clean. My only negative is that something sticky had been spilt on the floor by my bed. I couldn't be bothered to complain/explain, and just cleaned it off myself, so a little more attention to detail would be good, but I would stay here again - it didn't put me off!

Functional, good value hotel
Hotel keepers were friendly. Room was small, but average size for Paris and good value for money. Everything in the room was functional and met basic needs. You will have to walk up one flight of stairs to get to the lobby, but then there is an elevator. Hotel is easy walk to Mont Parnasse train station, metro lines and plenty of restraunts and grocery store nearby.

This is the worst experience I have ever had from a hotel stay. Please do not stay in this hotel. Most unfriendly, unclean and rude service. When you work in the common area the person in the reception ask you to leave saying need to arrange breakfasts at 8.30 PM in the night. Rooms are small you don't get the what you see in the photos. You have to climb 2 stories with your heavy baggage to reach the reception and from there, there is a tiny old lift to the most disgusting rooms. Extremely disappointed with the hotels.com as well as they cannot handle the customers issues. Will never use this hotel or hotels.com in the future.
