Norfolk Towers Paddington Hotel
Staying at Norfolk Towers was amazing - the manager was really nice and accommodating. The only downfall is that their bathrooms are quite small

Not enough room to physically use the desk & chair
Generally hotel was very clean and tidy, with friendly staff. However, I strongly suggest you avoid room 116 which was made out of corner of the first floor landing - while it had very nice furniture and was clean, it was so small that you could not sit in the desk chair - as the room was so small you could not pull the chair out! Also, no storage for bags, which I had to leave on the bed or in front of the door - despite being only a carry on size. Sorry to be negative, but this room is simply too small to be properly functional for the furniture inside it. It would be best to simply remove the chair between the desk and the bed, and let people just sit on the bed with laptop.

Only problem bathroom far to small, hard to move around the door. Also smell coming up from the drain hole on the bathroom floor.

This room should not be sold as due to some basic issue. You are unable to get into the bathroom without the possibility of injury especially during the night which became very apparent; the door opening probably does not meet health and safety and or fire requirements. There issue I believe with a train track or underground track passing nearby below which you can hear when in bed late at night. The secondary double glazed window does not function correctly and allowed air and wind noise through, which when the wind increases outside through the various fire escape hardware in the middle of the night made sleeping very difficult. The air condition unit keep defaulting to cold which was another very annoying issue. The bed mattress needs changing as it is very soft and falls away into the middle of the bed which makes it difficult to get a good night sleep. All these item were pointed out to your duty manager and her response was did you inform reception. I think if I could not get a coherent response from a manager at 9 am how would I get any response if I went to reception in the middle of the night. As an expedia member this hotel experience was very disappoint,

Perfect Stay
My daughter and I visited London over the weekend to celebrate her 13th birthday, Norfolk Towers was brilliant for us because we could drop our case off as soon as we got off the train at Paddington, just a five minute walk, and we knew it was stored securely for the day. As soon as we entered we were met with a friendly welcome and it was taken from us and locked away so we had peace of mind to go about our day. We returned later for a smooth check in, our room was immaculate and we had a great nights sleep in comfortable beds. Room service was very reasonable and appreciated after our busy day. Continental breakfast was included but for a very reasonable £4.95 each we upgraded to Full English. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and attentive, taking our orders for hot drinks between us helping ourselves to the plentiful buffet. All the food was fresh and tasty and set us up for another busy day. We were able to leave our case with them again and collected it later before our train. We would have no hesitation in staying there again on future visits. A big plus for us was that the en suite had a bath, perfect for a soak after lots of walking.
