We found the hotel to be very clean. The beds were very comfortable, the linen also very clean and fresh. The staff were very polite and helpful organising taxis for us and replenishing tea and coffee as required. The room was a little small hence we have rated it good rather than excellent. Decent hotel but my room was in the basement with no external window. It was fine, just wasn't made clear when I booked. As all the hotels on Sussex Gardens, the Cambridge is ideally located for travel to and from Paddington and onward to anywhere in London.

Great location for west/central London with local pubs bars restaurants etc. The staff were attentive and although basic the rooms were perfectly adequate and functional especially if only for a short break. Unfortunately the breakfast bar wasn’t available but Mimi’s Cafe was only a short stroll away.
