value
This was an excellent value for money (for London) family room. 4 single beds, very basic but comfortable. Smallest area I’ve ever seen for breakfast but a reasonable choice toast, croissant , scrambled eggs, cold baked beans, cheese, cereal, yoghurt, fruit and tea/coffee/juice

Great little hotel. Rooms a little cramped. Bathroom could use updating. Breakfast not impressive !!! Staff were great & very friendly

It was okay
The service was brilliant and the bed was very comfortable. However, room was a bit small/ cramped, they only gave you one tea & coffee upon arrival so we had to keep running to reception for more, the iron isn’t in the room you have to ask reception and honestly it isn’t the best. My partner tried to iron his shirt & it wasn’t brilliant. The carpets were clean, the bathroom floor & shower were clean & the bed was cleaned. However, small things like dusting needed to be done, there were foundation stains on the wall& the bathroom cupboards / shower gel. They don’t give you any amenities like shampoo& condition & only two small pillows were on the bed which you have to make do with. Service was brilliant, but I guess for the small price tag the minor things I’ve mentioned are expected. The area was brilliant though. 5 min walk from the underground.

Grotty
Very grotty hotel, had to wait for the receptionist to finish texting before he checked me in and then whatever pipes/heating/water boiler was on the ground floor made a lot of noise all night

Stay on Upper Floors!
So we stayed in the Lower Ground level, theres about 5 rooms on this level, plus the servantry and the breakfast room. Whatever you do, don't let them put you in Room 5 or 6, both rooms are opposite and next door to the breakfast rooms and the kitchen. It was VERY loud in the morning. I could hear every conversation that the kitchen workers had from 10 mins before breakfast started at 7:50am, plates clattering, chairs dragged across the floor. Not very good if you stay out late in London and want a decent sleep. No sound proofing. In the hotel room, it's nice and compact, has a decent size bed, a TV, A/C, place to hang your clothes, a decent amount of plugs. The en-suite is good too, comes with soap for hands/body/hair. The hairdryer didn't work in the en-suite and sometimes there was a foul sewage smell coming from the toilet, had to keep the door shut. The breakfast that comes with the package is frankly poor. The options were toast or stale croissants or cereal. The juice came from a machine which tasted like weak squash. They had a plate of ham which the ham was touching the dirty wall behind it. My advice is skip breakfast and go out to eat, plenty of places that are 10x better near Victoria Station. It's a budget hotel and you get what you paid for. I like the location of the hotel, easy to get to and like that it's on the Victoria line.
