I thought the hotel was fine I just think due to this coronavirus it put a damper on the weekend
cant write it as policy rules cover the page Hotel more like a hostel and only continental breakfast?
Dunoon was lovely the hotel was a bit tired and in need of updating but all in all ok only slept there
probably the best or one of the best hotels in Dunoon...well located...reasonably priced...room nicely decorated/finished..a shame the hotel had run out of ice!!...but likely just a small blip....will stay again.
Booked into Argyll as a regular visitor, had call 3 hours prior to arrival to say there were problems and I'd been moved to sister hotel, Esplanade, not as pleasant. Got there and discovered there wont be a breakfast despite that being advertised on Hotel.com. No loo rolls in room as they needed to be sanatised!!!!! I appreciate that Scotland has a strange Miinister in Sturgeon, but the whole visit was dissapointing. I went for business, otherwise I wouldn't have been there. I detected a very anti English attitude everywhere which will be remembered!
Very tired hotel needing major investment. Single rooms are VERY small. But keenly priced and unpretentious, so you get what you pay for. Staff and food were decent.
Room great, clean & tidy. Slept well. Breakfast poor, buffet style, came down around 8, no plates, not much of anything left, pot of tea was nice.
damp on the blinds .food not good .wanted double bed .2 singles put together
Everything in the hotel was good only one thing breakfast on the hot plate too long and a bit dry
Friendly staff but needs a refresh. Would stay again but not in single room as no desk for working on.
