Beautifully decorated, cosy, comfy bed, quite a trek up the stairs but personally I appreciate the exercise. Continental breakfast very average in hotel over the road due to renovations, but did the job for me. LOVE the fact their TVs are smart TVs and you can watch youtube and catch up tv without having to connect your own devices to their public wifi. Also I would like to know where they got their dark grey and orange cushions because they would suit my living room aesthetic perfectly and I have been searching for sofa cushions for *years*

Amazing service with great value
My stay was amazing and at great value. The staff was so friendly and helpful it made my stay even more better. I had a very bad experience the morning before with a different place to stay so coming to the hunover and the staff being the way they were really made my stay in London a lot better.

Had read mixed reviews about this hotel but my experience was all positive .It is a typical an old Victorian house hotel so no elevator but our room was comfortable and clean enough . Staff were super friendly and efficient and let us leave our bags after we checked out behind the reception . Very convenient location within walking distance from theaters and Victoria tube and coach stations . Tv and Free WiFi In rooms . continental breakfast is provided across the street in their sister hotel . For the price it was what I expected . Staff made it better with warm and welcoming personality . Would stay there again .

Great convenient location for a good hotel
An exceptionally convenient hotel location. Easy to get to, especially when traveling on National Express to Victoria Coach Station, and then having the easy onward rail network links so close by. Well priced accommodation including breakfast. You get what you pay for!

Avoid, if you can.
Hotel room was really dirty. The ‘promised parking’ is only available from 6:30pm-8:30am for free. So you still have to pay for parking. AND they ask you to move your car after the 8:30am is up. This is really not ideal considering it cost us an extra £16 to pay for four hours as we arrived at 2:30pm! The building was loud with maintenance work being carried out st 8am on a Saturday! I’ve stayed in Victoria a lot for even cheaper than this room was and I certainly would not recommend it.

Poor 2.0
Horrible disappointing stay
Total waste of money! We turned up to find a demolition site and had not been warned despite them telling me they had told their booking agents six months earlier!! It was dark, smelly, dusty, damp as the hotel was undergoing renovations. There was no hot water, wall lights hanging off, bedroom light bulbs not working, mould in the shower grout, a non working tv remote so was unable to hear the tv, no internet and the breakfast room was a workmen’s store room. Totally disappointing stay and ruined what was meant to be a lovely weekend visiting Chelsea Flower Show. The grab bag breakfast had an uncovered croissant that must have been covered in dust due to the work being done and the smell of damp plaster everywhere put me off eating anything in the place. Glad we only booked o e night which was one night too long. Extremely disappointing stay.

The hotel is really run down and looks very tatty. It’s also fairly dirty, including in the room I stayed in (tv remote v dirty, light fittings, lots of hairs in bathroom, door handles, carpet etc) and there was a lot broken (plug sockets next to the bed don’t work, sink cracked, floor tiles cracked, toilet seat was too small for the toilet and didn’t close, drawer). I was on the fourth floor, which has the tiniest staircase to get to it, my window had a view of a solid concrete balustrade (not v pleasant in itself) and I couldn’t see the fire regs so I don’t know how I’d have got out in a fire? This was supposed to be better than the first room I was allocated, that smelt of drains. Breakfast was offered as a take away....this was not mentioned on the website. I can’t have dairy so couldn’t eat most of what was on offer. The only option if you wanted to eat in was to go to another hotel down the road - ok if explained properly and in advance with perhaps an apology but customer service is severely lacking.

Hanover hotel - Won’t be going back there!
I booked a single room so wasn’t expecting it to be particularly big. But it was ridiculously tiny. The bed was fitted in between 2 walls so was like being in a submarine bunk bed, broken floor tiles in bathroom, broken floorboards under the carpet, carpet coming away all round the edges, the towels smelt gross, the TV didn’t work and the breakfast was served “on the go” so no where to sit, just bowls of fruit and pastries to take away. I’ve stayed in other budget hotels in that area and this was by far the worst. I should point out that the staff were very friendly and did attempt to help with the TV etc, so i couldn’t fault them.
