Staff was welcoming, but did not mention several things that I would expect at a hotel of this caliber…no valet or bell person before 8:30am. Would have been nice to find out on arrival rather than morning of departure. Person helping us then was polite and did give a good explanation of how and where to retrieve our car.

Pool is for over 18s only which was problematic but I didn’t see this in the small print. Also breakfast is served in an open courtyard which scenic but full of WASPS everywhere and my husband is severely allergic so that was difficult. We like the proximity of this property to the Cathedral. Our room was very spacious and the we liked the amenities - toiletries, coffee and tea in room. AC and lift/elevator worked very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We dined at the hotel brasserie, but there is no AC or if there is, it is not powerful enough to cool the place. There is also no AC in the lobby. Breakfast has a variety of items to choose from. Valet parking is available.
