Short walk from the train station. Excellant breakfast. The hotel itself is a bit tired but given the cost in Zurich it is probably priced reasonably. The staff is very nice. This is a non air conditioned hotel, they will provide a fan if one is available, otherwise room is warm and if you keep your window open you will hear lots of noise from people and vehicles.

Pros: location! Location! Just 3min walk to Zurich HB. Breakfast has a good spread and very delicious. Luggage storage is helpful. Staff was friendly. Cons: very hot in the room. They provide a fan so that was helpful. There’s no fridge too Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Hotel is great location for the central train station, it is looking tired, quite a few of the tiles in the bathroom at the bottom were cracked and broken. Room was very hot during the night and only option to cool it down for the night was opening the window which was loud as the street was busy. Only stayed one night so was ok would have really struggled in the heat if we stayed more than one night. Breakfast was free when we booked, I wouldn’t add it as an extra, in my opinion it wasn’t worth it if I’d had to pay.

This was my second time I stood in hotel Montana. I liked the area was closed to train station and the bus tour . Waking distance to train station and the bus tour . Front desk people were very helpful specially the guy name was Zahid ? And a young girl name was Paula . These two were the most helpful people in the hotel at my experience . They were absolutely very nice personality, kind and excellent customers . Breakfast was great very clean. Every day that we ate breakfast ,one older man was cleaning the tables all the time and he worked hard , he kept the place very nice and cleaned for others costumer to sit down and worked fast . Nice breakfast and staff and comfortable beds. Great central location too! However, there was lots of dust on the wall above the bed, the lights in the badroom were not working and from 6.30am saturday morning there was a lot of noise coming from the back courtyard, like someone was emptying glass bins for half an hour.
