Great hotel for central London
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Meridiana. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. My room was modern, clean and comfortable. The WIFI was reliable and a decent speed. Breakfast was fairly basic but good quality. The hotel is centrally located for visiting or working in London and there are plenty of places to eat close to the hotel. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Check in was quick and pleasant although we were told the hotel had no wi-fi (it did). The room was pokey and very warm but thankfully a fan was provided. The bed was futon style so had wooden slats that stuck out from the mattress and became uncomfortable and sometimes painful when getting in or out. The walls next to the bed had scum marks where someone had tried to clean them but left the dirt on the walls. The bathroom was compact too but all worked well. The shower tidy was covered in rust and should be replaced. Check out was quick and easy. The hotel just about sufficed for the price we paid and we were looking for cheapness over luxury anyway as our budget was tight and we were in London for a concert.
