Comfortable well placed hotel
Well placed hotel to explore Rome, easy(ish) walk from both the Trevi and Spanish Steps. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large walk in shower with rainhead fitting. Would stay here again if I ever get back to Rome.

Albergo Ottocento, Rome
Spent four nights in this comfortable hotel. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It's in a quiet street just metres from Barberini metro station (which is on the main line to the Spanish Steps and the Vatican). I would highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant (great food at a reasonable price)and would like to stay there again when I next visit Rome.

Good 6.0
Well placed to visit a lot of Romes attractions. Most things are within walking distance. The spanish steps are at the end of the street. However, very expensive and over priced for what you get. At that price I woukd have at least expected coffe and tea facilities in the room.

Poor 2.0
Worst hotel ever!
Worst hotel I've ever stayed! The air conditioner in my parents room was not working and the room was about 26-27 degrees. Reception Patricia was rude and abrupt, she said the air con is working and there is nothing she can do etc. I asked her to go to the room and feel the temperature, she refused to go up and said "if the engineer said it's working then it's working. Do you want me to give you a free room plus a gift?!!" It's like almost 40 degrees outside, their attitude was terrible, they do not care about the guests. I went to reception again and again, eventually they gave us a room at 9pm which had a good air conditioner. My parents had no room from 2pm to 9pm as there was no other rooms available. I complaint about the room again and again, so when we were checking out, they offered 20% off for the room without air conditioner. It's principle not money. And Patricia finally admitted the first room my parents stayed had a very old system for air con, that's why the room wouldn't cool down etc. We will never stay in the same hotel again! Most ridiculous service ever.
