Superb service.
The Kings Hotel is in a great location and the staff go above and beyond, top service, it's just a shame that the hotel it's self needs some money throwing at it, it's dated and is in need of a refurbishment, balance that with what you pay and it's not that bad, beds are big, rooms are small, but we had double glassing and the AC had a quite mod.

The rooms are dated and ac is poor, staff were nice though, the place is just dated and needs a major upgrade

Nice hotel with yummy breakfast and lovely staff who were very helpful! Good swimming pool and comfortable beds. Walking distance to harbour and easy bus ride to Coral Bay.

The Kings is brilliant. definitely going back
We arrived at midnight and stopped at the hotel bar, dropped out suitcases had a drink with some very friendly guest of the hotel. Didn't get to our room till 2am!!! So, room 210 wasn't to our liking so the next morning I spoke to Nayia who is very helpful and very pleasant. She offered us room 503 in another building overlooking the pool. Said just make sure everything is packed and her staff will moved all our cases into our new room. So when we came back from sightseeing in the afternoon, we had been moved. Lovely room with balcony overlooking pool, small bathroom but no problem. Hot shower everyday, very clean, the girls come everyday and clean the room, with new sheets and towels.Flat screen TV with english channels. The pool and surrounding area is lovely, best bit about the pool is just walking into it, you don't have to use steps. The hotel is close to everything. We walked into the harbour, about a 20 minute stroll or you can catch the number 615 bus for 1.50 euro. Lovely harbour with everything going on. or going the other way catch the same bus, (opposite side of road!!) and go to Coral Bay, nice sandy beach and great for swimming (we used beach shoes), as you go into the water large rocks for about 2 foot then pure sand, heaven. The night life along the strip at Coral Bay is very good, live acts every night I think. Hired a car from Horizon across the main road, lovely english lady. did a lot of sightseeing. Only there a week, not enough time. Going back soon

Poor 2.0
Terrible place, don't book!
Terrible place, don't stay there. I understand it's a low season and not many guest but if you are selling rooms at least make sure it's clean and welcoming. Terrible smell of chlorine in the room from the bathroom, dirty sheets, hard to find, no reception, only a phone at the check in and a keybox.

Very clean but could do with a re-furb in areas...
This is a very basic hotel with very old fashioned furnishings and facilities, but is very clean and in a good location. The beds are very hard and you only get one very flimsy pillow but again, at least the sheets etc were all crisp and clean! The very old shower head would not stay tilted up so I had to shower with one hand whilst holding the nozzle up and the shower curtain kept sticking to me the whole time (very small corner cubicle) which was annoying a bit gross tbh.... So if they could at least upgrade their bathrooms, then this would be a great little budget hotel! We only stayed one night but the staff are very friendly and the lounge area looked very nice! We didn't have breakfast, just a quick coffee but it looked like there was a good selection of cakes, bread, small selection tray of cheese and meats, yoghurt and cereals.

Good 6.0
Beautiful pool that I didn't have time to use. Staff was sooooo sweet and welcoming! That's the most important thing, right? Beds were comfortable, but the arrangement of the room wasn't the best feng shui-- 3 single beds and my friend and I had to crawl over one to open and close the sliding glass door to the balcony, and we reported that we couldn't consistently flush the toilet. Very short walk to Tomb of the Kings, which was downright magical at the golden hour for photography. 5-min drive to the UNESCO mosaics and waterfront in downtown Paphos. We were only at Kings Hotel 1 night, and it was fine for that. For a longer stay, it is a good budget option, but when I have a grown-up job again (I'm a grad student) I'd opt for one of the places on the shoreline with a huge pool. Note there is a 3-euro surcharge to "rent" the mini-fridge in the room--something I have never heard of--but with the breakfast buffet we did not need it.

Very good stay
All was good, the best part is hospitality from the staff, a lot of help from them.

Not the best hotel in the area, dark and moody
Was given a pretty bad room, no wi-fi connection, no remote control in the room, and no view. Maybe there are better rooms in the hotel, but you can likely do MUCH better than Kings in the area.
