I made a last minute switch from my Airbnb in the old town of Taormina to Villa Hotel Angela and I’m so glad I did. What drew me to Angela was that they provided free onsite parking. It the town center, driving is prohibited, so you have to park far away and carry your bags in. After a day of long travel, I knew that wasn’t for me. The pictures of Villa Hotel Angela don’t do it justice. The property is just stunning. The view from my balcony was epic. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a shuttle running to and from town every 30 minutes. I decided to walk into town rather than take the shuttle and that took about 20/25 minutes. My room was clean and spacious. Breakfast by the pool with views of Mt. Etna was beautiful. The only downside was that the shower ran hot, then cold, than warm, then scalding hot seemingly randomly. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone

Our stay at Villa Angela was brilliant! You can see the love and care that has gone into creating such a lovely hotel and the thought that has gone into ensuring guests have a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend and we will be visiting again in the future!

Antonello and Gianpaolo provided outstanding service. They went above and beyond and their hospitality was so appreciated. The location is up on the mountain and the roads are narrow, however the hotel provides a tram service. We look forward to returning. It was an amazing experience.
