The view of St Killan (sp?) Cathedral was lovely. When you enter the room, a very peaceful fish screensaver starts up. The room size is generous, the bathroom is clean, the mattress is good, the linens and towels are good.

My single room was small but perfectly appointed. The bedding was very comfortable, and I liked having a desk in the room. The shower was also nice with good water pressure and hot water. The hotel lounge was lovely and the bartenders were polite. The location is perfect for walking anywhere you need to go. My only suggestion would be to skip the breakfast, there are too many better options nearby.

Nice, but...

Really good location in the city centre. Smart rooms, but they are small. Tiny bathroom. Very disappointed that there are no tea or coffee facilities for guests unless you pay EU17 for breakfast. Plenty public car parking within a few minutes walk.

Parking is off site and not convenient. No air conditioning. Rooms are small and simple. No iron. Location is the best feature.

Great new property. The bar area served good snacks and nice selections of drinks. There is no restaurant on the property but there are many options nearby. Great location in old town. Parking is a bit of a challenge but on streets free from 7pm to 9am but you can only pay for 2 hours at a time just in front of the hotel. There are 24 hour options in the area. Staff was excellent and the small rooms are new and nice.

Nice location, few amenities

Comfortable, however, other Motel One's I've stayed at had at least a kettle and coffee or tea or a bottle of water. This had none but tap water, which wasn't very good tasting.

Lovely room, but no tea...

The hotel is lovely and clean, rooms were a good size, bathroom clean, and shower drained well. The main negative for me was that there was no kettle in the room for hot drinks. This forces you to buy coffee from the bar downstairs, which gets expensive. I love to have a cup of tea in bed when on holiday. The hotel tap water tastes very bad too :( Beds comfortable, temperature of room good. A nice place to stay in other regards. We did not have the breakfast as we are not a fan of paying 16 euro for continental.

This is a new hotel, the property's hardware is first class German quality () amenities). However, the same can't be said about the helpfulness of the staffi. Note that the hotel provides minimum (read as zero) amenities in the room. There's no bottled water in the room, and when I asked the receptionist if any water is available (such as drinking water fountain, wending machine, complimentary bottled water) she said you can buy from the bar, which costs 6 Euros for 750 ml! Later, I saw that the receptionist gave bottled water to other guests at the check-in. Maybe she forgot to give us when we checked in? Another strange thing is that the hotel offers 4 Euro discount for using the public parking garage for 24 hours. While the garage charges 24 euros max for a day (24 hours). but the hotel insists that the guests must actually park for 24 hours to qualify for the discount (i.e. even if you paid 24 euros but parked less than 24 hours), for example in our case, we arrived after 15 p.m. ( check in time) and left by 12 p.m.( check out time) the following day, so we wouldn't get the discount. I wonder why this rule?? The public garage is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Good experience. Small room. Huge bar! Take some of that bar area and give me a place to set my bag in my room. Friendly staff. Great location. 5 min walk to parking off site!

The staff could have questioned my choice of parking facilities. I could have asked as well but it ended up with very high parking cost of 40 Euro for 12 hours
