To be avoided
The web site does not reflect the actual place. The car park is full of caravans, motor homes and big white vans all occupying must needed parking spaces. This area resembled a scrape yard. The inside looked like an over stocked untidy antique shop. Totally not what we expected so we found other accommodation. The owners were not prepared to reimburse any of the £220 we paid.

Lovely place to stay
We loved it at hampsfell house. Its about a 10 min walk from town. Downhill there, uphill back. Lovely well presetned gardens to explore. Great atmosphere and very comfy. All the staff were really friendly and we had a big fry up every morning, perfect!
Dinner was also lovely. Wpupd definitely recommend.
