If you need hotel in Kassel area do NOT miss this fantastic village and hotel. Very nice personel, great room and tasty breakfast. Cute town with several nice restaurants just round the corner. In the discription it says no parking, but there is actually about 10 public parking spaces right outside the entance. Until 18.00 you pay 1eur per hour, rest of the evening and night it is free. The room is nicely renovated with old beams in the celing. The bed is a bit hard for our taste, but thats a personal reflexion. If ever pass the area again, we will absolutley make another visit.

Heart of the city!

You literally are in heart center….plenty of choices for dining and beautiful walks along the Fulda River. I was lucky to have the Christmas Market too! Very spacious and comfortable too!

“Alte Scheune “ var et rigtig fint og veldrevet sted beliggende hyggeligt ved en gammel møllestation. Værelserne var både rummelige og udstyret med hvad skulle bruge. Byen var en fin, hyggelig og gammel bindingsværkshus og den kan anbefales som et stop-over på gennemrejse sydpå🙂

Utmärkt hotell för en övernattning! Det var mycket snyggt, rent och mysigt både på rummet och i de allmänna ytorna. Fräsch och god frukost. Det enda vi reagerade negativt på var att det luktade väldigt mycket parfym överallt och det stod doftpinnar både i rum och badrum. Är man allergisk mot dofter kan det bli problem. Melsungen var en trevlig stad med korsvirkeshus att promenera i och med många restauranger att välja på. Nära till A7 om man är på väg.

Wir waren nur für eine Nacht in der Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war in einem top Zustand. Sehr sauber, schöne neue Möbel. Leider hatte unser Zimmer nur ein Fenster zur Straße hin, wodurch wenig Tageslicht in das Zimmer reinkommt. Bereits am Vorabend mussten wir uns auf eine Uhrzeit festlegen, zu der wir frühstücken wollen, was uns etwas Flexibilität genommen hat. Frühstücksangebot ausreichend und Preisleistungsverhältnis hervorragend.

Bra boende på ett mysigt ställe, rekommenderas

Jättebra boende, mysigt ställe. Det var fint och fräscht rum! Vi bodde två vuxna och tre barn, det fanns lite leksaker för barnen på rummet, väldigt uppskattat. Frukosten var som övriga liknande boenden i Tyskland och kostade 7 EUR för vuxna och 3,5 EUR för barn. Smidigt att äta innan vi åkte vidare ☺️ Fanns en del restauranger att välja på, valde Thailändskt och det var väldigt god mat, 500 meter från boendet.

Hyggeligt hotel med gode familieværelser

Et meget hyggeligt og roligt lille sted ikke så langt fra motorvejen. Centralt beliggende tilbagetrukket fra hovedstrøget. Vi havde et familieværelse med en fin og god køjeseng til vores drenge og en stor dobbeltseng i et rart og rummeligt værelse. Morgenmaden var fin og varieret og med ordentligt og rustikt brød. Ikke det samme papbrød, som man får i Sydtyskland eller Italien. Bemærk, at receptionen lukker allerede kl. 19. Vi hang fast i lidt kø, men vi nåede det lige:-). Et godt tip er thairestauranten i den anden ende af byen ca. et godt kvarters gang fra hotellet. Der var godt fyldt i restauranten, og vi og vores to drenge fik superdejlig thaimad. Selve byen er også rigtig hyggelig for en enkelt dag.

Tolles Gasthaus im schönen Städtchen Melsungen gelegen. Die Zimmer sind schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles sehr sauber. Einziger Minuspunkt: Zimmer sind sehr ringhörig. Wir hatten Zimmernachbarn mit sehr aktiven und lauten Kindern, welche schon vor sechs Uhr morgens herumtollten. War nicht mehr ans Schlafen zu denken. Aber da kann das Hotel nix dafür… Frühstücksbuffet ist klein aber Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist ausgezeichnet.
