The manager and staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. Our room was beautiful. They provided extra blankets and pillows in the dresser and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Location was perfect, right in the strand. We will definitely be booking the SW Beach Hotel every time we’re back in Hermosa.

The hotel feels quite worn down, and there was ongoing renovation work that caused significant noise during the day. I stayed in the Serenity suite that was the first unit on the 1st floor. The space was cute and functional. The code to the door didn’t work upon check in but I was provided immediate assistance by phone to resolve this. I didn’t use the kitchen area but it’s nice to haven’t option (fridge, cups). The location was great! Close to the beach and you could walk everywhere. I chose street parking as some areas allow overnight parking but it’s a few blocks away. Just read the street signs carefully. Otherwise parking meters are free between 2am-10am
