The hotel is located in central Ljubiana. The building and facilities are very modern. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There are lots of excellent hot and cold options to choose for breakfast. The food is very well cooked and replenished regularly. All of the staff on reception, in the bar and at the breakfast service were excellent. Everyone we spoke to were very helpful and polite. The reception staff arranged an airport transfer for us and provided directions to a museum that we wanted visit. Hotel Occidental provides a lovely place to stay with excellent service.

Staff were super nice and the property was well maintained. Parking was a little confusing but the hotel staff managed the reservation well and sent detailed instructions well ahead of time. I take away a star because the bathroom configuration of the junior suite gave very little privacy: one steps out of the shower directly into the room in an area with direct line of sight from all angles. We were OK with it but it felt odd. For this reason only we would probably stay elsewhere on a future visit to Ljubljana.

We were received by a very helpful and friend reception staff who helped us to find services and places in the city, ordered taxis and helped out in many ways. We enjoyed a breakfeast with high quality food and had a couple of meals in the hotel restaurant, all very tasty and precisely served. This was what we hope that hotel stays could alway be: perfect.
