Great Welcome, Sad Ending

The check-in started off well with a friendly check-in, vouchers for a compliment drink on the terrace bar. We were advised breakfast started at 7:30 but as we needed to leave at 7:40 the receptionist said it wasn’t a problem to go down earlier as they would be putting everything out. Unfortunately the older guy on reception the following morning decided to charge us for the complimentary drink…. and also the water at breakfast! Plus it was very obviously we were not welcome earlier in the breakfast room…. Really disappointing end to such a great start… hence why I didn’t question the change you owed me (€2) when we paid in full for the accommodation when we checked in… Normally when the bill is €268 and you hand over €270, change is given. Fortunately for us there are lots of lovely looking hotels in the surrounding streets

Parkplatz 850 m entfernt im dunklen Wald - NOGO!

"Parkplätze ohne Parkservice (nicht überdacht) kosten 15 EUR pro Nacht (Pauschalgebühr)" Steht so in der Beschreibung des Hotels, kein Wort davon, dass sich der Parkplatz 850 Meter entfernt im Wald auf einem Wanderparkplatz befindet. Der nähere Fußweg (200Meter kürzer, geht über einen unbeleuchteten Weg). Also bleibt nur der Weg über die Straße, Kopfsteinpflaster, Glatteis und Steil und auch durch den Wald mit Straßenleuchten ausgestattet. Für Frauen stellt sich da kein gutes Gefühl ein. Ein absolutes NOGO und dann noch 15€ dafür. Auf meine Frage ob es einen Shuttlebus zum Pp gäbe wurde ich nur belächelt. Ebenso habe ich gefragt, ob ich die Parkgebühr zurück bekomme, sollte ich einen anderen näheren Pp finden- Antwort war "nein" .Ich hatte tatsächlich Pp gesehen die nicht reserviert waren, daraufhin antwortete die Dame an der Rezeption da darf man nicht parken, die Polizei würde permanent kontrollieren. Es ging letztendlich darum die Parkgebühr einzukassieren, da habe ich mich schon abgezockt gefühlt.
Hier befindet sich der Parkplatz des Hotels Saxonia und zwei weiteren Hotels. 850 Meter zum Hotel teils über Kopfsteinpflaster, Glatteis, einfach nur gefährlich, für Frauen ein ungutes Gefühl bei Dunkelheit durch den Wald!
