Wasn't happy how the £12 a day parking was snuck on to the bill.. breakfast on the first day was terrible too many people queuing for everything second day was much improved,

Can't wait to come back
The spa is amazing, the full hotel and bar is really well decorated. Only thing is with the rooms you can hear a lot of noise from the corridor so didn't get the best sleep. However, as the rest of the hotel was so good, ideal location too, we will definitely be returning.

below par, staff rude, overall service was abysmal.

Very good 8.0
Overall a good stay, however this time around we felt a real lack of attention and welcoming from staff, particulary the rrception team who struggled to welcome us, shame the welcoming cookies have now gone, this was a lovely touch, it was also lovely to recieve a room upgrade, room and spa was lovely as always, food was good in the bar, however the elderly bar man from the main hotel bar was quite rude to us when we requested a red wine glass to finish our wibe in the room! Also during breakfast the dtaff were congregated around the entrance with one moaning loudly and constantly about another staff member, not good!!, we stayed for three nights and had a few niggles, being in the same industry we understand the lull and staff changeover at this time of year, however the readons for us returning are not consistent and we will not be back.
