Reasonable hotel
It is an OK place really. Room was small, ensuite tiny but clean . Quite noisy from passing traffic. Breakfast poor-food only warm

Confirm room choice with care.
We were not informed in advance that our family room would be remote from the hotel building, at the opposite end of the car park. The basement level room had a great.view until 7.30am when coaches parked directly across the entire frontage of the annex. There was a damp smell in the apartment, the floor was uneven in parts and some of the lights did not work. The staff were very friendly and the main hotel was very nice. The facilities in the main hotel were very good but it does get extremely busy during the day with day visitors going on boat trips using the same facilities.

A great hotel on the banks of Lochness
Great hotel overlooking Lochness with regular boat tours and coaches from the front of the hotel. It was great having breakfast and tea overlooking the Loch. The staff were all friendly and happy to help with any questions. The restaurant is nice but a bit pricey and limited for vegetarians and breakfast is a bit basic again no vegetarian option. Double room with balcony was nice, comfy bed but only 5 hangers for both of us in a massive double wardrobe. The shower wasn't great as it was poor water pressure. The bar was nice in the evening to have a drink and relax. The local area is brilliant but be prepared to pay a fair amount to get around without a car. Urguhart Castle is a boat or coach ride away and so is Drumnadrochit and Inverness. Recommend trip.

Awful
Don't make our mistake and ignore the bad reviews ....it is that terrible ! Over priced accommodation and limited view of Loch Ness even standing in front of the hotel. Accommodation was very poor .... we were basically housed in the staff quarter's under the guise of calling it the 'annexe'. Road noise was very loud even with a rear facing room, food quality terrible, room was dirty and shower was a joke....literally a trickling of water. Would really recommend staying in Inverness and doing a day trip instead .....definitely do not book this hotel. Not the staff''s fault, who were all very nice.

Great views, good food
Good food, nice staff, great views and easy to find. Just be aware that reception is 1st floor and whilst there is a disabled lift to the first floor there is not one to the second floor rooms. Staff happy to carry bags but guests with walking difficulties need to ensure they book 1st floor rooms only
