A very lovely, well maintained property in a lovely building . The room was excellent and the cleanliness was 10/10. Shops were no more than a 10 minute drive, peaceful no noises from houses near by. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. I highly recommended this property.

8/10 Very good

We were travelling for a wedding in Ulverston and wanted a self-catering option so went with this one. It's actually a lot lovelier in person. The buildings are well laid out (room was very easy to find), plenty of parking options, easy to follow check-in instructions. Correspondence with owner was easy, very responsive and helpful. Room was lovely and cosy. Surrounding area is nice, peaceful.

My favourite place to stay for work! Lots of parking, lovely buildings with modern clean rooms and great bathroom with large walk in shower, which is also spotless. Laura is lovely and very helpful if you need anything. Easy self check in and thoughtful touches in the room (great biscuits) I stay as often as I can and would highly recommend.

Second stay here at this beautifully refurbished school. We chose a larger king room this time. Well appointed, clean, fresh, modern, kitchenette came equipped with microwave, kettle, fridge, crockery and cutlery. Sockets are plentiful too. Good parking. Quiet area but easy to access amenities. We love Charnleys garden centre. Good food there.

The rooms are also spacious, with everything you require provided. The staff were really efficient and also very friendly and welcoming, Secure Parking is also provided. Its location is perfect for exploring the Lake District and surrounding areas, with easy access to the main routes/areas. Really looking forward to my next stay in this wonderful Lodge. Many Thanks for a great holiday.
