Good sized rooms in good position.
Nicely placed appartment/hotel with a good sized, well equipped room. Close to subway stations, bus stops, restaurants, bars and mini supermarkets. Cheap breakfast available, but wasn't great choice or quality. You get a well equipped kitchen with toaster, microwave and hob so possibly better to make own with items from Lawson, 7 Eleven or Family Mart. Very helpful staff with good English in most cases. Comfy, but cosy bed.

Excellent stay.
Nice hotel, close to the centre of Shinjuku. Lovely staff and the room was kept to a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. It was pretty quiet at night as it was a 10 minute walk to the centre meaning we got a good sleep. Good facilities with a good priced laundry and a free gym. Wood recommend it for a longer Tokyo stay as it has a small kitchen and a bit more room.

Great stay in Shinjuku
We were only in Tokyo for 3 days but enjoyed our stay in Shinjuku very much. The nearby gardens are very good (Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden) and good connection to the rest of Tokyo through metro and JR (as you might expect.) Citadines was very good, comfortable and well maintained - very happy. Its a great part of Tokyo - relaxed and friendly with small bars and a variety of restaurants and cafes but buzzing in places at night also.

Game changer
The Citadines was perfect for the trip to Tokyo. It is in walking distance from the Shinjuku station and main shopping area, but far enough away that you have very little human traffic outside. There is a great convenience store across the road down a side alley that have whole meals you can buy for really cheap, which helps keep the food budget down because you don't have to eat out for most meals. There are a variety of restaurants in the area so you are spoiled for choice. Beds were comfy and toilet had English on all the controls so you couldn't press the wrong button and get a surprise jet of water up your freckle. Definitely recommend staying here.
