Perfect stay

We stayed for 4 nights with another couple. We couldn’t fault this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The hotel was in a perfect location, the breakfast was amazing. Many thanks for a wonderful stay, we will definitely b back.

Everything was great during our stay. The service was 11/10. It is though important to mention that they do not offer free parking, which is at leat 100,- per day more. The restaurant has an outstanding view and a really great breakfast.

Beautiful view without amenities and service

My girlfriend and I went for a romantic stay in a suite in beautiful Tjøme. Unfortunately the room and services didn't live up to normal standards. The room was cold when we arrived, about 15 degrees outside with heavy rain, and there was not coffee or tea available to warm us up despite renting the suite with a kitchen. There was such a strong smell of chlorine by the pool and sauna that it was unpleasant to stay for more than 10 minutes. Also no bathrobes or slippers were provided, not even for sale when I asked in the reception. The rooms were more like an apartment than an actual suite. Tjøme was absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit.

Flott sted, flott beliggenhet, vårt rom var stort å fint, god seng og rent. Frokosten var god med godt utvalg. Flott uteservering og restaurant- nydelig da været er fint (som vårt besøk). Maten er god. Hotellet har dog mange i petsonalet som sommerjobber. Unge folk som ikke har "servicemind i fingrene" eller erfarenheten som trengs. Alle må begynne et sted, men der blir mange små detaljer som faller.... De mer erfarne (rest.sjef feks) må jobbe dobbelt så mye for å opprettholde fasaden...kudos til dem...men i bla resepsjonen så faller det litt. Små detaljer hvordan man blir bemøtt blir irritasjonsmoment. Disse fulgt av.."sånn er det" eller " jeg er ny her". Hotellet er superflott og fantastisk som sommersted. Vi hadde kort opphold, så vi fikk ikke prøvd alle fasiliteter, men kommer tiøbake.

Veldig koselig hotell med hyggelig stab. Flott beliggenhet. Absolutt ikke helt retro, selv om hotellet er klassisk av god historisk årgang. Skuffende med fravær av aircondition på rommene ved opphold på den varmeste sommerperioden (juli 2026). En liten nedtur også at badehuset var stengt under vårt opphold. At restauranten stenger kl. 21:30 er kunngjort på hjemmesiden, men savnet av enkle mat-alternativer for å dekke kveldsbehovet var merkbart. Minus også for mangelen på kabler ved ladestasjonene for elektriske biler. Og at man må betale ekstra for å parkere bilen som hotellgjest. Det må også bemerkes at uteområdene var dårlig vedlikeholdt. Ikke-reparerte gjerder, slitt minigolfbane der det manglet ett av 12 hull, samt manglende maling/beising av diverse bygg. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake og håper at herværende tilbakemelding er konstruktiv nok til at administrasjonen/eierskapet hever standarden ved å utføre vedlikehold og oppgraderer fasilitetene :-)
