When I first walked in the lobby, the place was deserted, including the front desk. Usually the door or some other device triggers the arrival of the desk clerk. Not so here. I waited a couple of minutes and then yelled out, "Is anybody home?" That brought a young lady to the front. It appeared that I interrupted a nap. It was 3:15 in the afternoon. The worst part of my stay was the bed. It was "rock" hard. I've been on the road for 15 days. This is the first morning I've awakened with a horrible back ache. Lastly, this property has the usually COVID-19 precautions in place (masks and distancing, etc), and then they proceed to throw your bill on the floor under your door where everyone has tracked in every kind of germ imaginable. On the plus side, this is the only hotel I've stayed at that still offers a nice hot breakfast. A kitchen staff member takes your order and serves you. She was the bright spot of the stay. Very nice, personable, and helpful. They should promote her to the front desk!.

The room and lobby were very clean. Unfortunately due to the pandemic the pool and breakfast area were closed. Other hotels we stayed in our trip along Highway 10 offered breakfast in a bag, but this property offered nothing. When we asked for a discount on the already high-priced room, we were rudely told no.
