Curate’s egg - good in parts.
The first staff wee encountered were friendly and helpful. We left out luggage but didn’t see our room as it wasn’t ready. No problem we were early. On returning the staff member was helpful. We checked in and went to our room which was awful. It was dark and pokey. (An internal room). I was so depressing- no outlook or light coming in. We asked for another room to be told the was the room we had requested - not true - and also it was one of their best rooms. (???) the staff member said there was no other room and there might be one tomorrow. Another member of staff had a quiet word and suddenly a room was indeed available. This room was better. Saving grace - the bed was great in this room. Huge and comfortable. Great breakfast- lots of choice. I wouldn’t go back there but there were good points.

Was in financial district, and not in City Center, so noise was not an issue. Location was totally accessible to all dining options and tourist spots, either by walking or taxi. Excellent value!

The girl at check in was fantastic. Very pleasant and welcoming. Restaurant was great, wonderful food and very convenient being that it was only a one night stay

Matilde at the front desk was so helpful! Everyone working there gave great suggestions on where to get gelato etc. we had one issue with our room and they fixed it immediately. Loved the patios out back. The elevators were TINY! Impossible with luggage

Italy trip 2022
The reception staff was amazing. The house keeping service wasn’t great. Items were constantly not replaced and you would have to request them. The bed was firm which is the norm for Europe and the pillows were very flat. Other than that the rooms were spacious and had all the amenities you would expect. The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood outside central Rome with lots of restaurants and was a quick walk to two metro lines.
