A decent room not too far from ExCel
The hotel reception was unmanned when we arrived at about 8.30pm, although somebody did come and check us in fairly quickly. We were in room 308 round the back of the main building in the motel type rooms, the heating was on when we opened the door and it was very warm and welcoming. Twin beds as we were two work colleagues sharing to save money, TV and Tea/Coffee makings with a kettle. The en suite shower room as was the rest of the room is spotless very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. The downside if there really is one and I am being picky is the breakfast arrangements served in the main building a large cafeteria style with continental breakfast. The option of a full English was a bit poor though, consisting of one piece of bacon, a plain sausage, one fried egg cooked until hard, and baked beans. I can't say if there was a veggie option as it was not obvious anywhere. There is an industrial toaster and you can have as much as you want with butter and jams though no marmalade. Some confusion was noticed when some other guests were refused the cooked option despite having had it the day before, the waitress checked with reception and was told not to let these folks have it? I was please with the experience overall and the price obtained via hotels.com was £30 per night less than the room rates up in reception! Take my advice shop around the internet if money is an issue for you. Would I stay here again yes I would but it is more suited to trades than tourists.

An OK hotel to spent a night if you like hard beds
Breakfast was sufficient, although it was disorganized. Microwave should be at the end of the buffet in order to eliminate the ques for the people waiting for their toasts and chocolate next to the milk (not behind). Bad things: The carpet in the room was not clean. There was mold on the bathroom tiles and yellow stain like urine around the drain's ring. A red van was parked every night in front of our entrance and his driver was disturbing our sleep every evening and morning. The reception staff was not helpful at all. Our check in was "here is your key go out from that door and you will find your room. Breakfast is from 7.00 till 9.00" The passengers outside the hotel were more helpful and kindly gave us information about the transportation from where to buy tickets or oyster cards how far we were from the center, where is the nearest grocery etc. Need to mention here that the young Romanian receptionist was very kind and helpful and he gladly book for us a wake up call (although the night shift failed to provide it on time) and a taxi to the airport The hotel doesn't provide any face towels, shampoo, foam bath or shower gel. The mattresses were very hard for somebody to sleep, My partner preferred to sleep on the floor and I woke up with back pain. Next night we changed beds but there was no difference

Não foi uma boa experiência.
It was not a good experience. They do not seem to be prepared to welcome foreign tourists. There were three receptionists. Only one was friendly. The second was rude to my wife because she stayed in the lobby for some time while I was making a work call in the room, apparently unaware that she was a guest. And the other was rude to me, many times, because I did not speak English perfectly. He corrected me as if he were my teacher. Maybe it was an extra service from the hotel. The location is good, close to the Stratford tube station. It takes about 40 minutes to reach London's attractions. The rooms are spacious but the maid service was not good. There was mold in the bathroom. And, from the second day, the bedding was not complete, it lacked a sheet. It does not have Wifi, even paying, despite having been informed that there was. When I asked the "teacher" to use the internet for an hour, for a pound, I received the negative and was advised to hire a mobile plan because their connection was bad. I believe him.

The Viking hotel
One pillow on bed witch was inadequate would have bothered went to reception for extra pillows didn’t have any at all which is terrible ! The only thing that was okay was it was near where I was going breakfast staff talking foreign to o e another just stood at the hatch watching you eat your breakfast , although breakfast was good ! tv in room very small didn’t think it was worth £70 at all will make sure in use premier in next time as I can’t fault them at all I booked for two persons didn’t say twin on the first page then upon check in came up as a twin no smoking ? Me and my hubby are over 20 stone so in a small single bed each just wasn’t ideal ! this is why I definitely would have booked twin beds ! so I will be make sure next time but would not stay there again

Budget low class comfy bed check sell by date on f
Hmmmmmmm if you find a cheap rate on internet this hotel will give you the worst rooms. The price yoy pay reflects the room. Bed comfy sheets clean but carpets need cleaning. Curtains need replacing place needs updating but for the cheapest price can accept for a couple of nights. Hmmm the breakfast im scared to eat it as couple times the yogarts have passed their sell by date and it makes me wonder what else is past its date that they cook and give you. For me if i get a cheap rate ie 45 and below a night i stay here but i dont have breakfast location is great
