As per instructions (in Spanish) sent just after booking, I phoned the hotel from the airport for a pickup. The driver showed up 15 or so mins later in their VW van and we took the circuitous route to the hotel.
Located on a main road across from airport south perimeter fence. Check in was easy and I was given a room on ground floor just off reception. Room not glam but clean, well sound insulated, and clearly intended for disabled (i.e. roll-in shower). High ceilings, large bed, fleece blanket available (wrapped in plastic) in closet. Small TV, maybe 19 inch class, also stocked mini-fridge. The sole restaurant seemed to be open for breakfast only, but there are a few within walking distance. An Aldi appx 1km away, found by navi on my iPhone. Breakfast was good, tho different from ones in hotels in rest of Europe. Spanish ham & sausage, cheeses, lots of tea breads, fruit and limited cereal. Could not figure out how the coffee service worked.
Rides to airport done in a larger bus which leaves every hour on the hour and you should make a reservation upon arrival.
Whatever amenities they may have (pool, spa) I did not use.
