This was my 4/5th stay at Bridge Street Apartments arrived early to leave my bag but found that the room was available. The last stay in November 18, the apartments undergoing refurb, this is still going on - the lifts during the day are taken over by the workmen so there can be a wait for them. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Perfect location for shopping Albert Dock and tourist attractions. A new fire alarm system has been installed which leave a green flashing light going off in the bedroom every minute or so my nephew who was staying in another apartment did speak to reception about this. At just before 1am the fire alarm went off & the building evacuated. The staff took complete control I was surprised to see at that time of night at least 6 members of staff with high vis jackets working as fire marshalls directing guests to assembly point. The receptionist was soon getting her list ticked for the guests staying and explaining that the fire alarm system was new and although probably a false alarm we had to remain outside until the fire service gave the all clear. The fire service arrived checked the building and we went back in probably about 30 minutes or so later. Well done to the staff for a job well done. I have not given full marks just because it was an inconvenience and difficult to get back to sleep in case it went off again. Noticed that the dining chairs also need recovering or replacing. I will return to Bridge Street .

Exceptional 10.0
Good clean facilities in excellent location.
We found the apartment easily, after a 10 minute walk from Lime Street station. The secure doorway led to 2 lifts which took us to reception on the first floor (It may be the first floor but check out the height of the shop next door. Don't be tempted to carry bags up the stairs!) Check-in was easy, £150.00 was reserved on my CC but never taken - fairly standard. We were given 2 key fobs for the 2 bed apartment on the 3rd floor. The receptionist gave a quick run down of t&cs, nothing unexpected. The apartment was clean, comfortable and easily heatable. It contained everything we required. It had an ensuite shower room and full bathroom. As we stayed mid-week the whole block seemed very quiet, we only saw about 4 other families. Liverpool one bus station is 2 minutes walk away and the staff we spoke to were really friendly and helpful, helping us find the best bus for Anfield. We ended up dropping our bags at the Train station and catching the 17 from Queen's Square bus station. I would definitely recommend this apartment and I would happily stay again.

Too hot
The property is well appointed and wonderfully located in the Liverpool 1 area, close to Albert Dock and the Pier Head. We were in Liverpool for the Feis music festival and so it was ideal for us. With this amazing summer it is a shame that the property has no air conditioning and the windows, which are floor to ceiling and bottom hinged, only open a few inches at the top. With self closing fire-doors everywhere, (no bad thing in itself), it meant that the apartment was like a sauna all the time. At other times of the year I'm sure it would be fine but for us it was uncomfortable. One other point, there was only one bath towel and one hand towel in the bathroom. On checking out we queried this and were told that there were more in the wardrobe. We hadn't specifically looked for more towels in there but had used the wardrobe so they must have been under the extra pillows we did see.

Very good 8.0
The apartment was generally very nice, new and sufficiently clean, with all the features one could possibly need for living away from home, many of which I didn't even need to use (such as the dish-washer and cooking utensils). However, personally I found the rooms to be too warm, particularly at night when trying to sleep, but when the windows were open the draft caused the doors within the apartment to make incessant sounds, doorstops would have been appreciated. My only other issue was that the leather-material on the sofa and chairs was somewhat scruffy and worn. I would also note that the hot water supply is restricted to a limited amount each 24 hours, I didn't run out of hot water at any point myself, but this is a detail that was not listed or explained on the website.

Exceptional 10.0
Full apartment. One common room, Two separate independent bedrooms, Two (yes 2) separate bathrooms, one kitchen. One store area with washer cum dryer. Extra dishwasher detergent & washing machine detergent provided free on request. Reception remains open 24 hour, but its on upper level. Location was easy to find - just use Google maps - street view. Luckily, on arrival (first day) someone was coming out of the small gate on ground level, & we managed to enter before the gate automatically locked itself. Everything from there onwards was easy. We had a comfortable stay in a nice, quiet apartment (just shut the double glazed windows) in a niche trendy market area. The Liverpool Central station is at walking distance - just 3-4 minutes. Harbor area too is nearby (5-10 minutes walking). Fast WiFi, 24 hours hot water, clean towels & toiletries.
