This hotel is massive, much bigger than I anticipated. It’s a gorgeous place with both interior and exterior pool. The lawn is a very nice place to sun bathe and the pool is slightly chilled which makes for a refreshing dip. The gym downstairs is huge and well equipped (is available for an extra charge). The beach is a bit limited but we were able to go for a dip off the dock. I believe they’re working on the beach. The breakfast was great and the service was excellent. Overall, we had a really nice stay.

What a mess , really felt cheated
This is the second time that Hotel Dino was available to book but few days bevor the come back with other hotel recommendations out of there group. Last time it was Hotel Splendid and it was not as good as Dino but ok. This time it was terrible. Hotel Bristol is Outdated, not at the see, and the first offers room where not in the main building. I told them that this is not fair. But they refused to give a cashback / refund. This hotel is not fair priced. My conclusion is that they try to get bookings on Hotel Dino and then to relocate to Hotel out of there Group. It feels like trapped. Grand Hotel Dino sent you a message: Good afternoon, According to your reservation, unfortunately due to the current situation we are not in conditions to reopen our Grand Hotel Dino. The current reservations …… really a few at the moment ……. The grandeur and lavish furnishings are a treat and warm the heart. You should feel you are being well cared for, breakfast is a delight of wonderful abundance overlooking Lake Maggiore and the Boromean islands from the Grand dining room. Artwork adorns the walls, stained glass domed ceilings are awe-inspiring as are the amazing spacious areas all around the hotel with thick bright carpets and dazzling huge chandeliers - spoil yourself.
