This is an absolutely beautiful property - the exterior of the building is well maintained and a stunning historic building, they also have a great winery for Beaujolais tastings. However the room on the side fell very short of the exterior - the hallways and room smells of old grandmother and cats. They have small flat square pillows on the beds and are genuinely the hardest beds I’ve ever slept on with springs sticking up. The room lighting is terrible (see photo), and there’s no plugs available near the beds, unless you want to unplug a lamp and then have no lighting. Genuinely such a beautiful property, clean and lovely, but could so easily boost from a 3* at best to 5* with room renovations.

Beautiful property and grounds. Dog friendly. Had ample parking including electric car charging. We stayed in a duplex room which is in a separate building right next to the main chateau, only seconds away so not far to walk. The room was clean, spacious and had a good size bathroom which is always a plus. Nice little patio looking out towards the pool (or gardens if you are on the other side). Breakfast was very good, lots of choice including bread, pastries, cold meats, eggs, muesli, yogurts etc. This is served in the building where the duplex rooms are so it was a nice short walk to breakfast. Staff were very friendly and polite. Unfortunately we did not get to try the restaurant as we arrived too late but it looked fabulous located in the old chateau. Would definitely stay here again without a doubt!

We had such a lovely stay. The grounds were beautifully kept, was stunning to be surrounded by vines. The Chateau was like something out of a Disney movie. Would highly recommended staying and I will be returning. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly.

Enjoyable stay at this Beaujolais chateau hotel

A lovely location, with wonderful views over the vineyards. A pity their check-in was only at 4pm, but they got us a room finally at about 3.45 Restaurant was high quality, traditional French, but would have been better if they also had a simple French bistro. Nowhere else to eat within walking distance. We enjoyed using the on-site electric bikes, and their liked winery has a very well laid out tasting room.

The comfort rooms are very lovely. I stayed a night in the upstairs option and then moved to a larger room downstairs with the outside space. The terrace was the perfect private spot to sunbathe and relax before dinner. The bathroom was very big and the tub was amazing. The property was so beautiful. This is a unique property. It is an actual working vineyard that the Chateau, which is ancient and beautiful sits in the center. Beautiful area to stroll around the grounds even among the grape vines. Food was outstanding wine was terrific and the room was very nice. Also great buffet breakfast. Very remote so take the breakfast and spend the day exploring this beautiful wine country. Definite 5 star

We had a lovely one night stay and enjoyed using the pool and doing the wine tasting experience. Our evening meal was first class and the service immaculate. The bar area was a little disappointing and feels in need of a bit of a makeover. The grounds are fabulous although it was a little too hot to do much exploring. We had a duplex room which was fine for 1 night but I would upgrade if I went again. The lights were very strange and you could not go to the toilet downstairs on a night without putting on all the downstairs lights and waking other people.Breakfast was good but not exceptional.
