This hotel has a historic feel. Spectacular view of the church and the valley in Heiligenblut. 10 minute walk to a great Austrian restaurant, Zlapp und Hof. No A/C (I doubt you’ll find any A/C in this town), but we slept comfortably with the windows open on a hot summer night. The hotel manager and staff are super nice.

Plenty of space, the bathroom was huge and, best of all, the view of the Grossglockner and the church in Heilingenblut from our balcony The town is a 5 minute walk to all the restaurants. Great location. Our room despite being small had a great balcony with a phenomenal view. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. More variety than other 20 hotels we stayed at during this trip. The staff was very helpful. Only two negatives. The floors in our room were super squeaky. Every trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night would wake my wife up. Also, no elevator. You need to use the stairs for everything. The only hotel so far without an elevator.
