These apartments are part of a bigger hotel and on first impressions in the reception area I was pleasantly surprised… That lasted all of 5 minutes until I was shown down a dark corridor to the lift required to get to my apartment. I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere so horrendously ,disgustingly filthy and woefully run down in my life…. Bathrom nightmares and Broken windows to mention just two things off a long list of things. I cant even describe the stench... I have taken plenty of pictures and plan to upload them on to the site to warn others that may be misled like myself when looking at the rating on the site. Dam right outrages to ask £154 for one night. I’ve stayed in better hostels. I always try to use star ratings to help decide when choosing hotels on your site, however this time I’ve fallen victim to a review that is not solely related to the apartments I stayed in and the rating is there for artificially inflated and extremely miss leading. I love Hotels .com but feel completely hoodwinked and let down by this booking I can’t believe you even have something like this listed. Stench

Clean and well-equipped studio apartment
Great little studio apartment that was just what I needed. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect to prepare supper (and saved the cost of eating out). Shame there was no washing up liquid or dishcloth/tea towel, but the liquid soap provided in the bathroom and a bit of elbow grease did the job! Just round the corner from Paddington, which was ideal for me.

Never again
This wasn't very disappointing! The rooms were very outdated and dirty, there was rubbish left from previous people in the living room, many things were damaged Overall our stay was not great at all!

Great location, good apartments for the price!.
The décor was out of date but clean enough and the shower was poor but it was good value for money. The location was only 2 minutes walk from Paddington Underground so perfect for tourists. Unfortunately we couldn't find the place and drove round for ages before realizing that the sign on the front doesn't say Aspen Apartments. Not great for guests trying to find it!! And there was an info leaflet in the room telling us that continental breakfast was complimentary but when we went down for it, we were told the info was wrong and we'd have to pay £9 each for a buffet breakfast. No apologies, just slightly snotty staff treating us like we were trying to get something for nothing. Thought the parking was a bit steep at £25 per day.

Very Good8.0
Generally good, room for a couple of improvements
The apartment is in a fantastic location just a short walk from Oxford Street, Hyde Park and Paddington Station. It was easy to find and although we were early for check-in the staff were welcoming and we were able to leave luggage in a secure room until or apartment was ready. The apartment itself was spacious and light, the only issues we had were a pair of children's sock / slippers still being in the single bed (implying the bed had not been changed from the previous occupants - not very pleasant), the fact that the kitchen area had no cloth's or soap / detergent type products and that the bathroom sink did not drain very well. Towels were supplied, there is a hairdryer and I would recommend this apartment despite the minor problems mentioned above.
