Central position
My daughter and I spent a weekend here. Juan greeted us on arrival and was very helpful with information of the neighbourhood and what was worth seeing. Studio was fine and equipped for our needs . Everything was within walking distance or metro on corner was handy.

Great Host
Great host, it was unfortunate that Grand Via and Seville Metro were closed due to renovations, these are the two closet metros to the apartments,

"If you want to stay in the middle of EVERYTHING..."
Wow, what luck! Our first stay in Madrid and I think we've found the place where we will stay at every time we go back to there. Down a quiet side street that then spills out into a busy shopping/eating area, the hotel is very close to the Gran Via Metro station, a LOT of restaurants, and literally within 15 minutes walk of most anywhere you want to go. The Prado?,,,15 minutes. Palacio Real?...15 minutes. The Thyssen?...even less. The Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol are even closer. We were warmly greeted by Juan, a very congenial, very informative, very enthusiastic, Spanish gentleman, even though we did not arrive until 10PM. He will show you around the comfortable and well-appointed apartment (these are apartments, not hotel rooms), then give you all the information you might need about the area - in Spanish. Our room had a small balcony, seating area, dining area, kitchenette, wing-back chair, fold-out couch, two single beds and a safe. The bedding was very nice and EVERYTHING very clean. The walls were not paper thin and the doors VERY secure (steel doors with bolts on both sides of the door). The wireless internet connection was strong and fast, with an AP on every floor. Access to the building is controlled and only accessible to guests. And, of course, there's an elevator. I think that once you stay here you, too, will have found your home away from home in Madrid.
A Traveller, gb3 night trip
