We were looking for a hotel that was both family-friendly and conveniently located near amenities, and this place did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. When we needed to switch rooms, the process was seamless and hassle-free. We asked for the two room family suite - a king in one room and 2 queens in the connecting room. The rooms were very spacious and had a large shared balcony overlooking the central court an pool area. The pool was olympic size, great for laps at the end of the day. Located on upper State Street, it was very close to the Santa Barbara Mission. The downtown restaurants and shops would be a bit far for most to walk, although I enjoyed the two mile stroll through the lovely neighborhoods.

I have stayed here several times since my daughter goes to UCSB. I love staying here! The garden setting outside your room, makes this place ideal. Every room comes with a patio or balcony and it nice to sit there and enjoy the scenery. There is also a resturant and bar that you can enjoy the garden setting as well. The rooms are a bit older and run down, but looks like they are slowly working on improvements. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. I continue to enjoy staying there. Sort of central to everything in Santa Barbara.
