When arriving and walking through the resort some of the communal areas could use some TLC but the main features are well kept. Good location for the beach and under a 200 baht taxi to Saladan pier.

Super value for money, we had a bungalow 30 yards froma super beach called long beach. Great wifi and very clean. Room.cleaned every day. About 100bhtt into downtown but loads of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Only wish the hotel ran buggies constantly from.beach to reception or main road as it was a little far. Beautiful and spacious room. Access to pool is also great. Breakfast isn’t great, only one kind of toast bread which doesn’t have any taste to it. Laundry service is also very confusing and difficult, clothes can only be delivered at 7 p.m. on point, otherwise they will not be accepted. WiFi also doesn’t work very well.

The room was incredible, well air conditioned and large. The staff were top notch, so friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with. The surrounding area is great, a lot of walkable dining options, and can get taxis from the front desk to areas further out. There were some monitor lizards and lots of beautiful birds out there too. The pool was very well maintained, and the beach is incredibly close, right at the back of the property. This location is so hospitable and beautiful it felt like a home away from home. Would go back tomorrow if I could!

Nice and quiet location

The location is quiet and great, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I was there during the low season, and it was a hassle to find e.g seven eleven and stores and etc. The massage place in the hotel was closed during my stay, and the restaurants near the hotel had unclear and varied opening hours.

Great service from all the staff, so helpful and friendly. The resort itself was a little rundown in places. Also no signs to let you know for example pools were closed. There was also no obvious food/places to drink so even though the staff were the highlight of the resort the lack of atmosphere and signage let it down a little. Beautiful room, great jacuzzi and beautiful beach that felt like you had it to yourself at times 😀. Overall a nice little place.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is right on the beach and within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and we even received our room earlier than expected. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, offering something for everyone. The pool area had plenty of space, and sunbeds were freely available without the need to reserve them in advance. Overall, a wonderful stay – I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily return on a future trip.

I stayed four nights at the Hotel and Beach Bungalow at Lanta Resort, and by the end of my stay, I was left with a love-hate relationship. After checking out most of the accommodations along Long Beach, I would say this property is among the better options—or, let’s say, the least disappointing. During my four nights, I stayed in three different bungalows. The reason: the unbearable noise of the air conditioning. The unit is installed directly in front of the bed and blows with impressive force—you’d think you were in a wind tunnel testing a car prototype. Despite the “sleep” button on the remote, this mode seems ineffective. After visiting seven bungalows in total, I found that the problem is widespread. The only solution I found (on the last night) was to cover about 60% of the air outlet with a beach towel to reduce the airflow. That said, the bungalows appear relatively new, well maintained, and clean. The space is pleasant and would be very suitable for a longer stay. Another mystery: the beachside bar and restaurant are almost deserted in the evenings by hotel guests. Most seem to prefer nearby beach establishments. I couldn’t figure out why, but one thing is clear—the atmosphere feels like a retirement home, perhaps explained by the fact that many of the hotel’s guests are older.
