Rough start, nice sleep

Check in a little rough. Night staff new to job & area - parking was full, googled other possibilities - i'm pretty sure we were ticketed, as our back window had writing on it. Had to carry our bags up the beautiful but long staircase (I'm over 65 & spouse with back issues). Room and breakfast nice tho.

Couldn’t check in until 4:00. Old hotels are nice but this one needed work. Biggest issue was bathroom. Shower door didn’t close and there was a very bad smell from the drain that made the whole room smell. There was service and they took away garbage, left new towels but didn’t make the bed. Bed was advertised as a king but only as wide as a North American double. Bad mattress and very uncomfortable. Food was ok but the breakfast room was very sad with run down decor and furnishings.

I stayed here once before and ok but this time the junior suite looked at the back where all the rubbish bins are stored and a terrible rusted gas tank and other tatters - not nice The room was over the kitchen and at 10pm the staff were playing music loudly and talking quite loud - not good Table cloth in restaurant was soiled I don't normally comment on reviews but this time I feel I need to

Der er snavset på både gangarealer, trapper samt værelse. Sengen var understøttet med træklodser, madrassen var virkelig dårlig. Badeværelset var også dårlig, selv toiletpapiret var noget kedelig noget. Morgenmaden var meget almindelig. Æggene var hårdkogte. På en søndag ville det være dejligt at man kunne sidde der til kl 11. Det ville pynte med dug på de kedelige borde. Hotellet trænger virkelig til en upgrade.

OK til en overnatning. Lidt slidt, hylde over vask hænger skævt så man ikke kan stille noget på den. Persienner når ikke til gulvet ved det ene vindue og er lettere ramponerede. Måtte ned og hente en hårtørrer i receptionen. Småting ,men noget man bemærker. Hyggeligt hotel og udemærket morgenmad.

Hotellet er slidt, og der lugter gammelt når man kommer ind. Det er ikke specielt indbydende at træde indenfor, men tror mange bruger hotellet da det stort set er det eneste der er placeret hekt centralt. At der først er check-in kl. 16 synes jeg er meget sent. Deres morgenmadsbuffet er okay. Synes prisen er for høj i forhold til hvad du får for pengene.
