We were very pleased with our stay at Cuatro Naciones. The room was unexpectedly large and the little balcony was an unexpected bonus. The hotel was very clean and we had plenty of hot water. There were numerous choices on the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and helpful. As it's a busy neighborhood, there was street noise at night. People stay out late! Although the street noise could be heard in our room, it did not keep us awake at night. The location, however, is ideal. It is close to restaurants, shopping, and important Barcelona sites. When we return to Barcelona, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a four night stay, the staff were so friendly and helpful and even repaired a plug socket on our first day. Rooms are basic but very clean, There is a mini fridge and hairdryer but no tea/coffee making facilities in the room or complimentary water. Although there is a supermarket very close to the hotel and a very nice bakery with coffee next door. The hotel is a grand old building and in a great location. We would stay again.

While the hotel is a bit dated, the bathroom was updated and everything was very clean. Staff were friendly. Only challenge was the air conditioning. While the in room system worked, it was loud and leaked water. The water challenge was fixed but the noise was not bearable for sleeping. Breakfast was ok. There was some fruit, bread, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal etc. it was enough to start the day.

Since booking my stay I have suffered leg mobility problems and I arrived with a rollator and limited mobility. The staff found me a more sunroom and were very helpful throughout my stay. Hotel breakfast was excellent. I was able to get to the nearby Placa Reial and some shops and walk a little on La Rambla. Very good cafe & bakery right next to the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
