The property was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood just a walk away from great restaurants. A few FYIs: "Partial Ocean View Room" equals the ocean is only really visible from your balcony. Most of the view is blocked by the buildings across the street, but there is a view...just not much of a view. I suppose that counts for partial, but in my opinion it is not worth paying extra for. The big thing that was new to me was the fact that there is no front desk --- there is a small touchscreen in a sitting area where you can enter your name/reservation number. I do recommend downloading the check-in app as it helps with the process and you can use your smartphone as your room key. I highly recommend you do this as the normal plastic key cards which we also had become easily nonfunctional from proximity to other credit cards or electronics. Our friends suffered the same problem with their keycards. The phone app, once understood, is quite convenient and easy. Since there is no front desk, when our room needed towels or we needed our car, we would call or text the hotel manager. It was aggravating at first, but because of the cleanliness of the hotel, the quality of the downstairs restaurant (a very nice brunch), my aggravation with the "no front desk" concept was soothed. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for being a quiet, clean and convenient place to stay on South Beach.
