Great hotel and would definitely stay again. The pool is fantastic and there’s a good range of food at the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately we had to change rooms after the third night of our stay as they couldn’t accommodate us in the same room for all 4 nights (we did know this before arriving) - the new room had no working tv (not a big deal I know) or aircon and it was really hot that day/night. The staff at reception did provide a fan for the room, but it wasn’t great. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable.

Great, convenient hotel to the port before cruising the next day...easy walk across busy street, but with well marked crosswalks. Clean riim, and front desk loaned us an adaptor. Fresh breakfast with real eggs, bacon sausage cereals, breads coffee and juices and so much more! Staff are very helpful and welcoming. I woukd stay here again and highly recommend.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, spacious room. Only gripe could be that the hotel bar wasn’t incredibly well staffed some nights when the restaurant was busy, but waiting a little for a drink there would be my only thing to mention in what was otherwise a great stay. Only a 15 minute walk from the main train station, which was super handy for a trip that was centred around exploring the coast via train.

A late warm welcome.

Arriving late off the GNV from Palermo, the Holiday Inn Genoa is a 5 minute drive from the port, a perfect location. It is 2km from the centre of Genoa, but ideally situated for the docks. Very comfortable room, a secure parking space for the car, a friendly welcome at reception. Ideal. We will stay again.
